Wellbeing Wednesdays: Building a Community of Self-Discovery, Connection, and Growth

Welcome to Wellbeing Wednesdays, a transformative experience offered through our Wellbeing Program. Join us on the second Wednesday of the month for a journey of self-discovery, connection, and growth as we come together to nurture our overall wellbeing.

Embrace the Power of Community

Wellbeing Wednesdays are designed to build a strong and supportive community and  nurture spiritual wholeness for the WE in wellbeing. We believe that when we come together, we can achieve so much more. By participating in our monthly sessions, you'll have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who are also on a path to incorporating wellbeing practices into daily experiences.

Discover Your True Self

Wellbeing Wednesdays provide a platform for self-discovery. Through a variety of activities and discussions, you'll have the chance to explore different aspects of your being and uncover your true self. Our experienced facilitators will guide you on this journey, helping you tap into your inner wisdom and discover new insights about yourself.

Forge Meaningful Connections

Connection is a vital part of the WE in our wellbeing. Wellbeing Wednesdays offer a space where you can connect with others on a deeper level. Through shared experiences, open conversations, and collaborative activities, you'll have the opportunity to forge meaningful connections with individuals who share similar values and aspirations and are seeking uplifting and inspiring growth in spiritual practices.

Grow and Thrive

Wellbeing Wednesdays are all about growth. Each session is carefully curated to provide you with tools, resources, and practices that will empower you to thrive in all areas of your life. Whether it's through mindfulness exercises, personal development workshops, or spiritual exploration, you'll have the opportunity to expand your knowledge, skills, and perspectives. Our aim is to support you in becoming the best version of yourself.

Mindfulness and the 12 Powers

Wednesday, March 13, 6:00 – 8:00 PM

Unity Spiritual Center Denver, 3021 S University Blvd, Denver, CO

$35.00 per person

Unity co-founder Charles Fillmore taught that each of us has 12 creative powers that are aspects of our divine nature: wisdom, love, strength, faith, imagination, order, understanding, will, power, zeal, release, and life itself. By understanding these innate qualities and learning how to focus our awareness on fully expressing the 12 powers in our lives, we can create a life of purpose and joy.

Mindfulness is the practice of training your mind to pay attention to the present moment. Mindfulness meditation practice develops stillness, inner knowledge and recharges your life by helping you to stay present to life's experiences. Through neuroplasticity, mindfulness practice can change the brain, reinforcing the statement: cells that wire together, fire together. There have been hundreds, if not thousands of studies on the effect of Mindfulness Meditation on well-being. As it relates to mental health, regular meditation practice produces structural changes to the brain that impact moods, emotions, unhealthy repetitive thought patterns, and influence the way signals from peripheral parts of the body interpret pain. In other words, mindfulness meditation improves the quality of mental health and overall wellness.

In this workshop, we will use the practice of mindful movement, meditation, journaling, and group process to become aware of and re-wire unhealthy thought patterns that are preventing us from cultivating and living the full expression of the 12 powers day-to day.

To reinforce the learning after the workshop, our facilitator will offer six optional virtual sessions to reinforce the practices we learn.  These will be held via Zoom on the following Saturdays from 8:00 – 9:00 AM: March 16, 23, 30, April 13, 20, May 4.  The cost of these sessions is $10.00 each. Each session will include practice and reinforcement ofneur two of the twelve powers. You can register for sessions individually or attend them all.
