The Community Meal is a potluck-style gathering, open to everyone, whether you shop at the pantry, volunteer, donate, or are simply curious. Bring a dish if you can. Come as you are if you can’t. Bring friends, family, neighbors, and kids. This table is for all of us.
The intention is simple: to build community across difference. There’s no line between who gives and who receives here. We eat together, talk together, and get to know one another — regardless of where we live, how much we make, or how we found our way to the table.
The Community Meal will happen on the fourth Sunday of each month and will include:
-
Shared food (potluck-style)
-
Time to shop the pantry
-
An optional open-mic space for sharing (stories, poems, music, reflections)
-
Plenty of low-key hanging out
Kids are welcome to attend with their adults. While childcare isn’t provided, children are invited to be part of the gathering.
