Unity Denver is launching a new Community Service Group focused on direct community action, legislative engagement, and ongoing learning. This is an evolution of the work we began earlier this year with Together Colorado. The Unity Denver Community Service Group creates a pathway for us to live our spiritual principles through service, justice, and collective growth.
Our first project begins this month as we partner with the Housekeys Action Network Denver (HAND) to cook and bring a hot meal to our unhoused neighbors on Wednesday, December 10. This will become a monthly service effort!
We invite the Unity Denver community to get involved by cooking, donating ingredients, helping with delivery, joining future actions, attending protests, or connecting with nonprofits aligned with our values.
