"This book is for anyone who has felt breathless. Your breathlessness is a sign of of your bravery. It means that you are awae to what is happening right now: THE WORLD IS IN TRANSITION." ~Valerie Kaur
This urgent moment is calling for change. What role will you play? Revolutionary love calls on us to be brave. How will we fight for others, our opponents, and ourselves?
We invite you to use this study group as a way to build community conversations and integrate the practice of revolutionary love into your daily life.
In See No Stranger: A Memoir and Manifesto of Revolutionary Love, Valarie Kaur presents revolutionary love as the call of our time—a radical, joyful practice that extends to others, to our opponents, and to ourselves. In this group, we will offer discussion and reflection questions designed for you to dig deeper into Valarie’s stories and into the framework of revolutionary love.
SEE NO STRANGER is a practical guide to changing the world, a synthesis of wisdom, a chronicle of personal and communal history – all joined together by a story of awakening. Revolutionary love is medicine for our times. It just might be our best chance for our collective future.
Facilitated by Rev. David Howard and Trish Morris, LUT in conjunction with our Authentic Connections Ministry.
