10:00 a.m. Service
7:00 p.m. Service
Our service on Christmas Eve morning at 10:00 will explore, through word and song, the spiritual significance of many of the symbols associated with Christmas. The Christmas tree is more than just a decoration. The exchange of presents represents something more than just getting more stuff. Bells toll the message deeper than announcing the arrival of Santa. And, speaking of Santa, he brings us more than toys. He is a messenger of deep spiritual truth. No, we won't forget about Jesus. We will celebrate the birth of our master teacher, elder brother and way shower. Our Christmas Children's Choir will share a special song to honor him. Join us and explore what these symbols, as well as others, can mean for us. This service is for adults and children of all ages.
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
- Isaiah 60:1
Our Christmas Eve Candle Lighting service at 7:00 will celebrate the Twelve Powers of humankind as twelve living lights - always expressing, always unfolding - within us, as us. Unity minister, Rev. Kelly Isola, has created a Christmas service incorporating the Twelve Powers as discerned and delineated by Unity cofounder Charles Fillmore. Each of the powers is a light that represents an aspect of the Christmas story, as well as an aspect of each of us.
Lauren Shealy will be here to bless us with her shining spirit and beautiful voice. Musical inspiration will also be provided by special guest violinist, David Waldman, as well as Martha Yordy, the Unity Choir and our own Rev. David Howard.
Come share Christmas with your spiritual family as we sing and celebrate the light within us all.
